Non-Geographic Numbers

0844 & 0845 numbers make your company easier to talk to
0844 & 0845 local rate numbers give your customers the assurance they are calling you at a fixed, local rate, no matter where they are ringing from.

This can provide a necessary comfort to those who may be reluctant to call using national or premium rate numbers.

0800 Freephone numbers
For customers who show a reluctance to call an 0844 or 0845 number, why not provide an 0800 freephone number?

Market analysis Research confirms huge increases in the number of incoming calls over standard numbers, which could increase sales and enhance customer relations.

The cost of ownership of an 0800 number is low, and should pay for itself ten times over via increased incoming call traffic.

03 Numbers

03 numbers are charged at the same rate as geographic (landlines starting with 01 or 02) calls.

03 numbers are ideal for public bodies and registered charities as there is no cost of ownership (unlike 0800 freephone numbers).

  • 0300 numbers are only for the public sector which include organisations with a .gov.uk or .nhs.uk website and non profit organisations such as registered charities
  • 0303 numbers are available for everyone
  • 0345 numbers are available to people who currently have 0845 numbers (if an organisation has the number 0845 765 4321 it would have the option of changing the number to 0345 765 4321)
  • 0344 numbers are available to people who currently have 0844 numbers (so an organisation with 0844 765 4321 would have the option of changing the number to 0344 765 4321)
  • 0370 numbers are available to people who currently have 0870 numbers (so an organisation with 0870 765 4321 would have the option of changing the number to 0370 765 4321)
  • 0371 numbers are available to people who currently have 0871 numbers (so an organisation with 0871 765 4321 would have the option of changing the ir number to 0371 123 4567)

0870 numbers

0870 numbers are charged at the price of a standard phone call, enabling your customers to contact your organisation at a low cost, from anywhere in the UK.

0871 numbers can create an income stream for your company.
When a customer calls your 0871 number, you will earn a rebate dependent on the length of the call.

The caller pays the standard BT national rate charge (usually 10ppm) and you earn an agreed rebate per minute (which will vary dependent on call volumes).

Popular with call centres and high profile institutions, 0871 numbers allow you the opportunity of offsetting a consistent revenue stream against standard telephony costs.
